Post Props for scenarios.
As for my earlier thread i asked about making a smoke grenade and fish also put out the point that i should come up with some idea's for scenario props, i have plenty of ideas and ways to "invent" props out of random stuff. If i know the scenario before hand and the items needed to complete the scenario i can see if i can stir up something.

- Ammo crates (bb resupply) Both teams have a crate somewhere on the field where the players have placed their own bb resupply. (Takes honesty on this one.)
- Riot Shields (not homemade) impact resistant and tested to be safe.
- Radio comm to intercept enemy intelligence. Aka something that doesn't scan channels but actually takes some dials to hone in on frequencies. (This one is far out there.)
- Randomly picked Spies or Mole that reports to opposite co's at a certain spot on the map, if moles or spies are discovered they are held captive as a hostage till the other team can get him or her back. (way out there as an idea)
- A prop bomb that is made out of a solid case that has prop bomb in it and a watch timer that takes 10-15 seconds to plant. Another watch that is a timer that lets you disarm the bomb 10-15 seconds to disarm by time. Stop watches would be color coded for the bomb planters vs the people defusing. Fuse timer would be at a set number on a watch where it would be beep when it has blown up. I can show an example if you would be interested. (Honesty is key here for the planters.)

I got tons of ideas. Just let me know. As for the items that it takes to make these items as props, i won't be making them until i have a secure budget to make them. The prop bomb i can come up with some stuff to show to you guys in a video of some sort if i get the time and cash to make it. Ill be drawing up a schematic to give you guys and idea of what it would look like.

Also that video that we recorded is in oddbawl's hands to ask him when it will be ready lol.

Well hope i get some interesting responses. Tell me your thoughts! Give me some ideas!

Sweet man, sounds good. We love guys who will step it up and give to the organization!

We do have and use ammo crates as props, however, after much experience, we do not use them as resupply points. There're just too many variables in play...however we love them as props!

Riot shields count as gear, which counts as a hit for now. We've given some thought in the past to working them into a scenario, but we really see no use for them right now.

We've done randomly picked spies or moles in scenarios and this is a lot of fun!

Monitoring frequencies is something we've also done in the past at big events.

One of our members, Slayer, is actually working on a bomb like you described as we speak.

But seriously man, thanks for the input. If you feel like you'd like to help out with props or whatever, that's awesome! I know the event organizers are always looking for ways to incorporate new props and ideas!

As for the bomb planting and defusing. I am going to start work on something like this soon. I plan to use switches and a circuit to arm. (Eventually) a timer circuit to detonate the bomb. And a system for disarming. I had an idea for the disarm to be interactive. Wont be too hard, but I first have to get the free time to do so.

I would be OK with ballistic shields as long as they weigh 30+ lbs. :P
